We are currently seeking to add to our team within the West Midlands office which is located between Wolverhampton and Bilston. We seek a proactive Consultant to work within the Engineering and Technical sector OR to compliment our existing workload by building a client portfolio within an associated field.
You should have the ability to run your own desk and will be responsible for meeting personal billing targets. The office is predominantly concerned with permanent recruitment but we are more than capable of dealing with contract based requirements as required by our clients. Your recruitment experience to date could be from any sector but must include canvassing for new business, developing client relationships, resourcing and interviewing candidates and relevant administrative tasks. You will be self-confident and self-motivated, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of relevant IT packages.

- Wolverhampton - Candidate Resourcer
TEK Personnel Consultants are an established professional recruitment consultancy working with major blue chip clients throughout the country. Our Technical and Engineering Division is expanding and is winning more business daily, mainly through referral and repeat business from satisfied Clients and Candidates alike. In order that it can continue this rapid expansion we are seeking a Candidate Resourcer to work with our established team of consultants.
The position will involve taking Clients briefs from the Consultants and resourcing candidates quickly to satisfy these requirements. This can be done via placing adverts on Internet job boards, utilising the existing database and obtaining referrals from people. You will need to talk to people on the phone and utilise the IT systems daily to obtain CV’s, rapport building, vetting and qualifying the candidates before putting them in front of the consultants.
This is a fast paced, multi-project environment and you will need to think on your feet, it requires excellent communication and IT skills along with an ability to grasp technical information especially within the engineering and manufacturing sectors. The learning curve is steep but professional training on and off the job is provided for candidates that can show the necessary drive, determination and aptitude to succeed.
