Please note that the road system in Sheffield has recently been completely redeveloped. Satellite Navigation systems and other web-based instructions will not be updated until at least summer 2008, and are currently giving incorrect information. Please use the following instructions.
From North/South/East on M1
- Leave M1 at Junction 33.
- Follow the City Centre signs along the dual carriageway A630/A57/A61 Parkway. Shortly after passing Matalan on your left and entering the 40mph zone, turn right at the traffic lights onto the Ring Road at Junction 1 - Cutler's Gate. Please note that the next Junction is number 10.
- Keeping in the nearside lane throughout, continue along the Ring Road following signs for "Barnsley A61" and the brown “Cathedral & Devonshire Quarter” signs.
- Straight ahead at Junctions 10 and 9.
- At Junction 8 Corporation Street, take the left fork (Europcar on your left), still following the Cathedral & Devonshire Quarter sign.
- Go straight on, past West Bar Police Station on the right to small roundabout near the BMW garage on right hand side.
- Take the second exit left onto Townhead Street.
- At the top of the hill you will come to 2 sets of traffic lights, go through the right hand set and turn right.
- Immediately after you have turned right, there is a 9 storey building called the SHEFFIELD CITY PLAZA, at the end of this building you will see a sandwich shop called THE UPPER CRUST with green canopies. In between the two is the entrance to BELLS SQUARE and TEK is situated through the gates on the right (not straight on) and we have a small car parking facility.
From Manchester via Glossop
- Follow the A57 Manchester Road until you come to the outskirts of Sheffield
- Continue past the Crosspool Tavern on the left and BP garage on the right, down the hill until you reach the Broomhill shopping centre.
- Go straight on, (do not fork right) and go down past Weston Park Hospital (on right), and the Children's hospital (on right), through one set of traffic lights, then on to the University of Sheffield roundabout.
- Take the third exit, straight across at the roundabout, onto Broad Lane. Go straight past a church set back on the right, and the University Engineering Department on the right, to a small roundabout, near a BMW garage. Take the third exit off the roundabout right on to Townhead Street.
- At the top of the hill you will come to 2 sets of traffic lights, go through the right hand set and turn right.
