Company Takeover

SHEFFIELD’s TEK Personnel Consultants has been taken over by Rotherham-based Stafforce Personnel.

TEK is the third acquisition by Stafforce in the past six months and chief executive Ian Anderson said: “This is a very exciting time for our company. TEK Personnel is a great addition to our portfolio and there are many synergies between the two businesses.”

Mike Childs, managing director of TEK Personnel, said: “This is great news for us and we welcome becoming part of the Stafforce Personnel business. Now with their backing and expertise, we will be looking to further develop opportunities within our core market sectors. We are very optimistic about the future and are confident that this will be a very positive move for both our staff and customers.”

TEK Personnel was established in 1984 and employs 24 staff across its three offices – Sheffield, Derby and Wolverhampton. The company has a longstanding UK-wide client base predominantly in the manufacturing, engineering, technical, construction, sales & marketing and IT sectors.
